* Louis Roederer International Wine Feature Writer of the Year 2009 Margaret Rand visited Le Mas de l’Ecriture, described it as “a pocket-sized estate working on a most detailed scale, with great focus in both vineyard and winery,” and singled out L’Ecriture 2001 for praise (four stars, 18/20, in Decanter January 2010): “Beautifully elegant, nuanced, complex red with a terrific finish. Lovely with truffles. Drink now – 2020.”

* In the Wine Advocate (February 2003), Robert Parker awarded the 2000 vintages of Les Pensées and L’Ecriture a mighty 90 and 89 points respectively (a feather in our cap, as this was only our second vintage). Wine Advocate contributor Neal Martin tasted L’Ecriture 2001 in 2009 and awarded it 89+ points, while co-contributor David Schildknecht tasted the 2004 vintage in June 2009 and rated it 91/100.
